Friends and family are often asking us about our French cottage, so to make life easier for everyone here’s the details:

This traditional 17th Century Cottage with beamed ceilings is set on a sunny lane in a tranquil village in the heart of Brittany.

The local tea-rooms and historic village church are about 100 yards away and with the village bakery just around the corner, you can wake to the smell of freshly baked bread.

Only 40 minutes from the coast, and close to all amenities, from local lakes to historic abbeys, beautiful walks to cycle routes.

With such a wide array of attractions, you can chose the holiday you want, from action packed and exciting to quiet and tranquil to recharge your batteries and … relax in Brittany
Holiday in a traditional village house and immerse yourself in the Breton way of life.

There is no garden to the property, but the quiet lane at the front is ideal for taking out a table and chairs to eat/drink al-fresco.   There are also woodlands, parks and picnic areas within  a few minutes walk.

NOTE: The cottage is equipped with everything you could want for your holiday from TV (bring your own DVD’s/DVD player)  to microwave, modern showers and a roaring wood burner, but as reflected by the rental rates this is not a luxury villa – it is a traditional French gite offering a homely and central base ideally placed for exploring the beautiful countryside and sea shores.

Where it’s at

Brittany has around one third of France’s total coastline! From your South/Central position means you are within easy reach of many different beaches, leisure areas and towns. Many superb beaches are to be found close to L’Orient, just 40 minutes away.
